Every time you play APL, you earn points which are tallied up on various leaderboards, all of which give you the opportunity to win your way onto the APL Poker Tour, the world's first free poker tour.

APL has two simple point systems to help you on your way to becoming number one!

Tournament leaderboard

Tournament leaderboard points are awarded in the following fashion:

1st ­ 125 + the total amount of players
2nd ­ 100 + the total amount of players
3rd ­ 75 + the total amount of players
4th ­ 50 + the total amount of players
5th ­ 40 + the total amount of players
6th ­ 30 + the total amount of players
7th ­ 20 + the total amount of players
8th ­ 10 + the total amount of players
9th ­ 10 + the total amount of players (SA,QLD,VIC,TAS)
9th to 16th ­ points equal to half the number of players (minimum 10 points) (NSW)
10th to 17th - points equal to half the number of players(minimum 10 points) (SA,QLD,VIC,TAS)
All other players ­ 10 points.


Promotional Leaderboard:

Promotional leaderboard points can only be accumulated from games that have 24 players or more and used for specific promotions.

(Points for the APL Promotional Leader Board are awarded as follows:

1st ­ 175 points
2nd ­ 150 points
3rd ­ 125 points
4th ­ 100 points
5th ­ 90 points
6th ­ 80 points
7th ­ 70 points
8th ­ 60 points
9th to 16th ­ 25 points
Every other player ­ 10 points
